And ear muffs too, no doubt.
Just remember that you are there as Brian's official minder and it's your role to make sure he gets through his visit without any mishaps and returns safely to David.

thank you lisah, i'm glad someone cares!

a mishap could so easily happen if brian got distracted by something like... i don't know... say a half-naked man frolicking in the snow (unlikely though that may sound) and goes off to photograph him while i'm left to the mercy of anyone and anything in the wilds of central park...

buttons says (later)...

just re-read your message and realised you were worried about brian not me!

humph!

I reckoned that you are probably better able to take care of yourself than Brian - and I did express concern about your ears!

yes, that's true!

btw, the good thing about gill's scarf is that it converts very easily into an ear muff!

Buttons, why didn't you tell me you were going to be in New York! You could've taken the train down to Washington, DC and I would've shown you (and your two roommates of course) around and we would've had such fun.

That was very naughty of you not to come visit. And we don't have any snow here so you wouldn't freeze your little buns, er, tail, off.

brian was working so we wouldn't have had time (he says) to have made it to washington.

by the way, i only had one roommate - he left david at home! so i guess i'm lucky that i made it!
