Hi Coz, I hope you dropped in on my Great Uncle while you were there. He prefers to be known as Hexaprotodon liberiensis, but in the family (and I'm sure you count as family)he's known as Horace Hippo. As he's a pygmy hippo, he's about your size.
i looked for hippos in case you'd given up on life in ascot and opted to come back to live in the smoke, but there weren't any... where they used to live (in the old elephant/rhino pavilion) there was nothing but a lot of bristly, 'bearded pigs'. ugh!
so where they've all gone i don't know... they've not moved in with your people have they...?

They're definitely not here: there's no more room.
I expect they've been put out to grass at Whipsnade. Being sensitive creatures, hippos prefer the countryside to the hectic city life.
But it was nice of you to think of coming to see me. SharonM is right - in the pictures you look as though you've smartened up specially as well.
