bunny-eater

here i am tucking into some chocolate bunnies that i got for easter...

between mouthfuls, i have vague worries about whether i am becoming a cannibal...?

I think MaltEaster bunnies (what a fab idea!) are okay, as they are a subspecies. You might want to avoid eating Cadbury Buttons Bunnies (if such things exist) -- Buttonsian Bunnies would be just a little too close in the biochocligal sense.

thank you, beth, you have helped put my mind to rest.

about chocolate buttons - as i entered this world (or, at any rate, brian's life) in a box containing a cadbury's chocolate buttons easter egg, i am always very careful to avoid eating any relatives!

It must be very pleasant to receive gifts of chocolate on your Birthday, or at Easter or Christmas.

I'm just saying ...

Brian - I suspect that Hippolyta and Buttons were doing more than just holding hands at Easter (did no one check them for chocolate paw prints?)

Buttons - you may indeed be turning into a cannibunny.

hippolyta – who ate that lovely italian easter egg we brought with us? surely not sheila and roger...!

sharonm – out of respect to h, i decline to discuss any details of our easter tête-à-tête!

Hmm ...
The Italian Easter egg was so good that it disappeared very quickly. I don't want to stir things up, but no mention was made of Hippolyta when it was given to us ...

excuse me asking, sheila, but what part of "i don't want to stir things up" is it that i'm not quite understanding here...?

I think you're not quite understanding that if you are going to drop Roger and me in it with Hippolyta, we'll repay the compliment ... after all, we have to help calm her down when she has one of her turns.

You've been very quiet of late, Buttons.

Are you by any chance too busy courting a certain hippo?
