holiday blues

last night in the artistico taverna, brian sang that song about the hippopotamus that goes 'mud, mud, glorious mud...'; it is really very silly, but, of course, it set my mind turning to thoughts of hippolyta...

i am counting the days to her arrival and hoping that – unlike other years – there won't be any last minute glitches...

It won't be long until we're together!! There should be no hitches this time as your Cousin has made all my travel arrangements. He has even ordered a stretch limo to take me to my villa.

I'm slightly concerned by your mention of Brian singing - does this mean that Roger will be singing too? Maybe we could take some long moonlight strolls by the sea...

So get the Bolly on ice - I'll be there soon!! What fun!!!

Oh Buttons, you of the wistfully drooping ears, I hope your time with Hippolyta will be sweet, with nary a nasty glitch in sight.

Not long now, Buttons. Maybe you should practice your singing too, so that you can serenade Hippolyta from the balcony.
And if the two of you find that you get too emotional listening to Brian and Roger singing, I suggest you ask David or Sheila what they used to do in Cafe Rene when Madame Edith 'sang'.
